About the Role
At Lazio, we are building digital infrastructure for ZISWAF (Zakat, Infaq, Sedekah, Wakaf) to empower institutions and expand social impact across Indonesia. Every donation, every payment, every report flows through the systems we build, and we want you to help build them.
As a Back-end Developer, you will design, build, and maintain the services behind our platforms, from donation and payment flows to ERP and accounting systems used by institutions every day.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Build and maintain back-end services and APIs using PHP (Laravel), JavaScript/Node.js, and Golang.
• Design efficient database schemas and queries on PostgreSQL.
• Implement caching, queues, and performance improvements using Redis.
• Deploy and operate services on AWS together with the DevOps team.
• Write clean, tested, and well-documented code, and take part in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, mobile, and web teams to ship features end-to-end.
Requirements
We're looking for an engineer who loves building reliable systems that matter.
• 2+ years of experience as a back-end developer.
• Strong in at least one of: PHP (Laravel), JavaScript/Node.js, or Golang; experience with more than one is a big plus.
Technical Skills:
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization).
• Experience with Redis (caching, queues, rate limiting).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, Lambda).
• Experience building RESTful APIs and working with microservices.
• Familiar with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and Docker.
• Experience with payment, financial, or accounting systems is a plus.
